Byns Bistro is a cosy, lively pub located in the heart of Gothenburg's old harbour district. The building's factory and workshop past is evident in the interior details, with iron beams in the ceilings and large, close-set windows. Grab a bite to eat, a drink or challenge yourself and your friends in our weekly quiz. We have live music in the bar every Friday and Saturday night. We offer a wide selection of beer including selections from Gothenburg's craft breweries, an excellent wine list and great bistro food.

Fancy yourself an epistemophiliac and a repository of pop culture ephemera, history and current events? Do you have an uncanny ability to use the magic-eye technique to unscramble anagrams? Or do you just fancy a pint or two with friends while you give your brain a little exercise?

Originally from Wexford, Ireland, Ian has been based in Gothenburg for many years. You can enjoy him playing songs from his vast repertoire every Friday and Saturday.
